Land Day is a day to remember and honour six Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces on March 30, 1976, after uniting in protest against the theft of their lands. This day is commemorated each year to mobilize against further theft of Palestinian land and to reassert the unequivocal right of return for Palestinians to their lands. Join the masses this Saturday March 30 at 2 p.m. at Yonge & Dundas square!

April 6 - Take part in a coordinated international day of action on April 6 to hold RBC accountable for their role in financing genocide and climate chaos. Stand in solidarity with a growing, global movement to support Indigenous Land Defenders by attending an event or hosting your own. View the Leadnow action map to register for an action near you. April 11 - Stand in solidarity with Indigenous Land Defenders on Thursday April 11 to resist projects funded by climate villain RBC by joining the rally outside RBC’s AGM in Etobicoke. Act:

  • Ontario education workers, and supporters, are invited to anonymously endorse this open letter to Ontario’s education decision makers to amplify the demands from Palestinian family groups. Demands include acknowledging the harm caused by the erasure of Palestinian suffering, combating anti-Palestinian racism, among many others. Add your voice today. 

  • Five public sector pensions, one in B.C. and four in Ontario have over $2 billion dollars invested in companies that the UN has indicated are complicit with war crimes. Use this Action Network letter template to write to the CEO’s of the 5 major pension plans and urge them to divest from the companies arming Israel in their genocidal campaign.  

  • Apply to the Toronto Community Justice Fund if you are in Toronto and facing recent or ongoing legal costs stemming from arrest or criminalization due to your solidarity actions or organizing efforts for Palestinian liberation. The fund continues to accept much-needed donations as well!

Watch/Listen/Attend:

  • On Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. join a Land Day Vigil at Yonge and Dundas Square to commemorate Palestinian martyrs who gave their lives to defend their land. Follow Jewish Anti-Zionist Collective TO for up-to-date details as they become available. 

  • The TTC is holding a series of consultation meetings and an online survey about the “Family of Services” for Wheel-Trans users on April 10, 16, and 18.  Have your say about TTC safety for Wheel-Trans users by attending these upcoming meetings
